DeVonta Smith wins ESPY for best men's college athlete of 2020-21, flashes canary yellow suit
Former Alabama football star DeVonta Smith was given the ESPY for best men's college athlete of 2020-21 on Saturday.
Smith was also nominated for best record-breaking performance, which was awarded to Washington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook for his NBA record 182 career triple-doubles.
The Heisman trophy winner finished the season with 117 catches for 1,856 yards and 23 touchdowns on his way to a National Championship.
Smith was later drafted No. 10 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2021 NFL Draft, where he will reunite with former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts.
After stealing the show with his look at the NFL Draft, Smith again showed his fashion with a canary suit and sunglasses on stage at the ESPYs.
"I just wanted to be outside the box," said Smith.
