Nick Saban discusses injury status of Alabama football's Josh Jobe, Jalyn Armour-Davis
Alabama football starting cornerbacks Josh Jobe and Jalyn Armour-Davis have practiced all the plays so far this week, coach Nick Saban said Wednesday.
Jobe and Armour-Davis each missed the Mercer game with injuries.
"They're out there playing every day," Saban said Wednesday. "Seemed like they're doing OK to me."
Saban said Monday that Alabama would see how the two corners develop through the course of the week after not being able to practice leading up to the Mercer game.
With Jobe and Armour-Davis out, Kool-Aid McKinstry and Marcus Banks started in the win against the Bears. Each cornerback tallied an interception.
In the first game of the season, Jobe finished with five total tackles with a pass breakup while Amour-Davis had two total tackles and a pass breakup.
