The Alabama football schedule has its first road game against Arkansas on Saturday, Oct. 1. The game time is set for 2:30 p.m. CT at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, the SEC announced Monday.

The first matchup was a blowout as Alabama won 52-3 in 2020. The rematch in Tuscaloosa in 2021 was much more of a battle. Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young passed threw for 559 yards, a school record, and five touchdowns. Jameson Williams caught three of those touchdowns. Arkansas' Treylon Burks also caught multiple touchdowns. The two receivers have since gone to the NFL.

The Razorbacks have never beaten Nick Saban over his previous 15 seasons. The last time Arkansas defeated Alabama was September 2006 as the Razorbacks narrowly beat the Crimson Tide 24-23 in Fayetteville.
