Alabama football has a new all-time points leader.

Kicker Will Reichard, the senior from Hoover, has 388 career points with 56 field goals and 220 point-after attempts. He has been kicking for the Crimson Tide since the 2019 season.

Reichard reached 388 in his performance against LSU that included four field goals and an extra point. He surpassed Leigh Tiffin, who had 385 (83 field goals, 136 point-after attempts).

This season, Reichard has kicked 80% of his field goals, hitting 16 of 20. His longest kick went for 52 yards. He has made all 44 of his extra point attempts. He hit the game-winner against Texas on the road in the second game of the season.

In 2020, Reichard did not miss a field goal or extra point. He made all 14 field goal attempts and 84 extra points. Alabama went undefeated and won the College Football Playoff Championship.

“Will has been a consistent performer for us for several years now," coach Nick Saban said in September. "I mean, I’ve never been around a guy that had a perfect season as a kicker. Never ever missed an extra point, never missed a field goal."
