Alabama football A-Day 2023 time, date set for spring game

Alabama football has made its A-Day spring game time and date official. UA announced the game will be played at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 22.
The game will be the cap on spring practices that start March 20 as Nick Saban prepares for his 17th season as coach at Alabama.
The Crimson Tide will hold 14 practices ahead of the A-Day game. All are closed to to the general public, outside of the spring game.
The team's pro day will be held March 23 in the early portion of spring practices.
This season, the Crimson Tide has the task of replacing several key starters and leaders such as quarterback Bryce Young and linebacker Will Anderson Jr. Other key departures include defensive back Brian Branch, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, linebacker Henry To'oTo'o and more.
Quarterbacks Ty Simpson and Jalen Milroe are expected to compete for the opening left by Young. On the edge, Alabama will have Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell back as well as some promising young talent.
