Louisville college basketball scandal moment-by-moment: Rick Pitino and Tom Jurich are out

After an FBI investigation revealed a national "pay-for-play" scheme to lure top basketball recruits included the University of Louisville basketball program, speculation mounted about the fate of head coach Rick Pitino and athletic director Tom Jurich. 

The coach has been placed on administrative leave but has been "effectively fired," according to his attorney Steve Pence. The university announced that Jurich is on leave.
