LSU lost one of its key players in the second half of Saturday's home game against Texas Tech.

Forward Darius Days rolled up his left ankle at the end of a play with 10:57 left in the game and LSU leading 48-47. Days slowly hobbled off of the floor with assistance from two LSU staff members and did not return.

Up to that point, Days made a large impact in the game with 11 points and nine rebounds, including four offensive boards.

"Nothing's torn," LSU coach Will Wade said. "But he'll be out at least a week or two with a bad sprain."

Days is having an All-SEC caliber season, averaging 12.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, shooting 54.8% from the floor including 40% from 3.
