Mississippi State football vs No. 1 Alabama game time, TV network announced
Once Mississippi State football returns from an open week, the Bulldogs will face their toughest challenge of the year.
No. 1 Alabama will visit Davis Wade Stadium on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. CT, the Crimson Tide announced Monday, with the game airing on ESPN.
Mississippi State is coming off a win against then-No. 13 Texas A&M, in which quarterback Will Rogers threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns. The SEC named Rogers a co-offensive player of the week for that performance, and the Manning Award listed Rogers as one of eight standout quarterbacks of the week.
Alabama plays the Aggies on Saturday before facing the Bulldogs. The Crimson Tide are coming off a 42-21 victory against No. 17 Ole Miss, with running back Brian Robinson rushing for 171 yards and four touchdowns.
Mississippi State last beat Alabama in 2007. Since then, the Crimson Tide have won 13 straight matchups, including a 41-0 victory in 2020.
