Alabama softball transfer tracker: Who's staying, leaving and joining?
Alabama softball season is still going on but there has been some action in the transfer portal for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama is gearing up for a Super Regional matchup with Northwestern in the NCAA Tournament after winning the Tuscaloosa Regional. The series will start on Friday at Rhoads Stadium.
Alabama will be losing fifth-year seniors Montana Fouts, Ashley Praange and Ally Shipman. Next season will be the 28th season of Alabama softball with coach Patrick Murphy entering his 26th season.

Who is transferring out?
Barnhart has entered the portal, the Tuscaloosa News learned on May 23. She appeared in four games during the 2023 season before Murphy told the media on February 28 that Barnhart would be taking a leave from softball. For her career, she has hit .175 in 40 at-bats, with four RBIs, appearing in 28 games and starting 13. Committed to Texas Tech per her Instagram.
