Jim Chaney offers first tweet as Tennessee football offensive coordinator
First up, though, he offered his first tweet since joining Jeremy Pruitt's staff on Friday morning.
"Our guys are working hard every day to get better with each opportunity," Chaney wrote. "Excited to see #VolNation again in Neyland Stadium at the Orange and White game on April 13 at 6:00 PM! #PoweredByTheT."
Before that composition, Chaney had retweeted some posts by Tennessee's official football account, but he hadn't comprised a tweet of his own since Dec. 2, 2017, when he wrote: "SEC Champs!!"
Chaney was in his second season as Georgia's offensive coordinator at the time, and the Bulldogs had defeated Auburn 28-7 in the SEC Championship.
Pruitt spoke of Chaney's impact on the offense earlier this month.
"There’s good leadership on that side of the ball," Pruitt said. "Jim has done a nice job with the rest of the coaches on the staff to teach the guys and demand that they do it the right way, and it’s showed up at each practice."
