Darrell Jackson commits to Tennessee football's 2021 recruiting class
Defensive end Darrell Jackson of Gadsden High School in Havana, Florida, committed to Tennessee during the Vols' junior day on Saturday.
He made his intentions known on Twitter.
After thanking his high school coaches, Jackson wrote, "With that being said after a great talk with @CoachJPruitt I am proud to announce that I have committed to @TennesseeVolsFB."
The 6-foot-5, 238-pound Jackson is the sixth known commitment for UT's 2021 signing class. His other offers were from Maryland and Bethune-Cookman.
"He told me he liked me and he needed pass rushers, so I felt good about it and I committed," Jackson told GoVols247. "It just felt right. It's my decision, so I felt it and I made it happen. I wanted to commit. It wasn't out of excitement."
