Harrison Bailey replaces Jarrett Guarantano for Tennessee football at Auburn
Jarrett Guarantano was replaced as Tennessee's quarterback again.
Harrison Bailey entered for the Vols at Auburn with UT trailing 27-10 midway through the fourth quarter.
The Vols fell behind 20-10 to the Tigers after Guarantano's pass attempt was intercepted in the end zone by Auburn's Smoke Monday, who returned the interception 100 yards for a touchdown. Then Auburn scored again to take a 17-point lead.
Bailey has completed 6-of-9 passes for 65 yards with two interceptions in two games this season.
He made his debut against Kentucky, when he completed 1-of-4 passes for 24 yards. He played in the fourth quarter of Tennessee's 24-13 loss to Arkansas on Nov. 7. He
Saturday marks the second time Guarantano has been pulled this season after turnover problems. He also was yanked against Kentucky, when he had two pick-sixes among his three turnovers.
The senior also had three turnovers against Georgia.
He has accounted for three offensive touchdowns since halftime against Georgia and four defensive touchdowns.
