Alabama vs. Vanderbilt basketball video highlights, final score in 2022 SEC Tournament

The  Alabama and Vanderbilt men's basketball teams meet during the second round of the 2022 Southeastern Conference Tournament in Tampa, Florida, on Thursday, March 10. 

Vanderbilt defeated Alabama 82-76.

No. 6 seed Alabama went to 19-13 overall. No. 11-seeded Vanderbilt improved to 17-15 overall. 

Vanderbilt advanced to face Kentucky in the SEC Tournament semifinals on Friday.

Vandy's Rodney Chatman 3-pointer

Vanderbilt guard Rodney Chatman hit a left-corner 3-pointer with 3:19 left in the second half. Chatman's basket put Vanderbilt up 71-68 vs. Alabama. 

Vandy's Trey Thomas steal, Jordan Wright dunk

Vanderbilt guard Trey Thomas stole the ball from Alabama's JD Davison, and Thomas fed the ball to Jordan Wright for a fast-break dunk with 9:30 left in the second half. Wright's dunk cut the Alabama lead to 56-55. 

Vandy's Shane Dezonie fast-break basket

Vanderbilt guard Shane Dezonie grabbed a defensive rebound and took it for a fast-break basket with 10:55 left in the second half. Dezonie was fouled on the play and made the ensuing free throw. His basket and free throw cut the Alabama lead to 53-51. 

Vandy's Scotty Pippen Jr. basket in lane

Vanderbilt guard Scotty Pippen Jr. got a basket in the lane with 12:46 left in the second half. Pippen's basket cut the Alabama lead to 51-44. 

Vandy's Quentin Millora-Brown layup

Vanderbilt forward Quentin Millora-Brown scored on an assist from Jordan Wright with 7:24 left in the first half. Millora-Brown's basket cut the Alabama lead to 26-18.

Alabama's JD Davison no-look pass

Alabama guard JD Davison threw a no-look pass to Charles Bediako, who made a layup with 8:35 left in the first half. Bediako's basket put Alabama up 24-14 vs. Vanderbilt. 

Alabama's JD Davison lob pass to Juwan Gary

Alabama guard JD Davison threw a lob pass to Juwan Gary for a dunk with 12:42 left in the first half. Gary's dunk put Alabama up 17-11 vs. Vanderbilt.

Vandy's Scotty Pippen Jr. 3-pointer

Vanderbilt guard Scotty Pippen Jr. hit a right-wing 3-pointer with 15:00 left in the first half. Pippen's basket cut the Alabama lead to 13-11.

Vandy's Myles Stute 3-pointer

Vanderbilt forward Myles Stute hit a right-corner 3-pointer with 16:43 left in the first half. Stute's basket cut the Alabama lead to 8-3. 

Vandy's Liam Robbins blocked shot

Vanderbilt center Liam Robbins blocked a layup attempt by Alabama guard Jahvon Quinerly with 19:20 left in the first half.
