Four-star cornerback Khamauri Rogers of Holmes County Central commits to Miami
Holmes County Central cornerback Khamauri Rogers committed to Miami on Saturday.
"Done deal," he wrote on Twitter.
Rogers is the No. 2 recruit in the state in the Class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite. The 6-foot-1, 168-pound Rogers is the No. 9 cornerback in his class and the No. 61 prospect nationally, according to 247Sports.
The four-star recruit cut his list of schools to six in April. He listed Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Notre Dame along with Miami.

Rogers, who originally was committed to LSU, later removed Nore Dame from contention in March, following interest from Alabama and Clemson.

The senior was the top prospect in Mississippi, but after the 247Sports Composite rankings were updated, Germantown running back Branson Robinson bumped Rogers down to No. 2.
Rogers was member of the 2020 Clarion Ledger All-State team. He had two interceptions returned for touchdowns and two pass break-ups on five targets. On offense, Rogers caught six touchdowns on 15 receptions.
Rogers plans on signing in December in order to enroll early.
