The Nashville Predators earned a 3-2 shootout victory against the Dallas Stars on Sunday at Bridgestone Arena.

After the teams traded goals in the first and second periods, both were scoreless in the final 20 minutes of regulation and subsequent overtime. Ryan Johansen scored on Nashville's first shootout attempt, which turned out to be the decisive goal.

Nashville's next two tries bounced off the post, but Dallas was unable to capitalize. Predators goalie Juuse Saros saved the first try, and the second deflected off the net.

With Nashville holding a 1-0 shootout lead on Dallas' final attempt, Saros blocked the shot with his leg and clinched the win. The Predators are now 5-0 in shootouts this season.
