Nashville Predators dominate Florida Panthers to open crucial home series

The Nashville Predators beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Monday night at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. 

After falling behind 1-0 around five minutes into the first period, the Preds did not surrender another goal. Erik Haula and Yakov Trenin each scored in the fourth period to put the game out of reach. 

Goalie Juuse Saros had 39 saves on 40 shots. He held off 22 Florida attempts in the second period alone.

With the win, Nashville is in fourth place in the Central Division with 56 points. Dallas is close behind with 54.
