CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Four University of Alabama women’s golfers shot under par in Saturday’s second round of the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational. The Crimson Tide carded an 8-under par 280 and are tied for third, two strokes out of the lead going into Sunday’s final round.

Kentucky holds the team lead with a 15-under par 561 (283-278). Wake Forest is second (282-280/562). Alabama (283-280/563) is tied with Michigan State (286-277/563) at third.

Alabama’s Angelica Moresco (69-69/138) is tied for fourth. Kenzie Wright (70-69/139) is tied for eighth. Polly Mack (71-71/142) is tied for 18th. Emilie Øverås, who eagled the 17 hole, is tied for 53rd (76-71/147), and Caroline Curtis is tied for 58th (73-75/148).
