PETERSBURG, Fla. – Former Alabama women’s tennis star Alexa Guarachi earned her highest doubles ranking of her career after moving up to No. 38 in the world in this week’s Women’s Tennis Association Doubles Rankings.
Most recently, Guarachi and partner Kaitlyn Christian advanced to the final of the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy in St. Petersburg, Russia over the weekend. The duo fell in the final to Aoyama/Shibahara (Japan), 4-6, 6-0, 10-3.
In addition, Guarachi has made appearances in the last seven Grand Slams.
